The Prefecture of Lesvos is in the Aegean Sea, close to the Turkish mainland and it includes Lemnos and Agios Efstratios. Lesvos is the third largest Greek island after Crete and Evia. It is an island famous for producing the best ouzo in Greece and high-quality virgin olive oil. It is also the birthplace of famous Greek female poet Sappho. On the island you will see many traditional settlements such as Agiassos, Assomatos, Vatoussa, Eressos, Mantamados, Mithymna, Petra, Plomari, Polihnitos, Sigri and Sykamia. Kalloni is the bird-watching capital of Europe, also rich in wild flowers while Thermi, Efthalou and Yera are well known for the thermal spas operating there.

The island of Lemnos is located between the islands of Lesvos and Samothraki. It is a volcanic and mountainous with rich vegetation, fertile soil and many beautiful beaches. The villages are still untouched by modern-day tourism and have kept their traditional style.

The island of Agios Efstratios is between Lesvos, Skyros, Lemnos and Sporades. It is a quite and secluded island with oak tree forests, ideal for those who want to enjoy tranquility.
